It’s that month when festive occasions come rushing one after the other like tsunami waves. I see some of my friends attending eight to ten engagements and weddings within a span of two weeks. Add to that Christmas and New Yearhappy new year 2020 celebrations, family get-togethers, vacations and December becomes one big happy concoction of family, friends, laughter and madness! Although for me, the only tsunami wave that’s hit me is a wave of work as I rush around wrapping up shoots and trying my best to stick to all the deadlines before the entire industry goes into party/holiday mode. Luckily (for you guys) since I am still at work, I can keep the recommendations and ideas rolling in on what to wear, what to buy, what to gift and all that jazz.

The jumkas specially are my absolute favorite! Just the right size, with intricate detailing and delicate structures they are perfect for everyday wear as well as festive wear. The price range is pretty affordable between INR1300 – INR3500. I decided to style one such piece with a bright pink lehenga and a gold waistcoat for a recent event.
