Remember the last post I created with these lovely earrings from Gehna? Ever since I added those statement pieces to my gold earrings collection, I have been obsessively browsing their website for new products and seeing that we were extremely happy with the outcome of the previous post, we decided to create a few more looks with Gehna gold collection. Every time I open the website I automatically browse through their story and the art and craftsmanship behind their designs. Like I mentioned numerous times before I love brands with dreams and aspirations. Brands like Gehna that welcome you to know their side of the story, and strive to form a personal connect with their customers. Having a dream and realizing it through the satisfaction of your customers is what every entrepreneur or a dreamer (my choice of words!) works towards.
I strongly believe in power and magic of ideas, vision and dreams. The kind of magic that you believed in as a kid – with a sense of wonder and innocence. Sometimes you have dreams that no one can see and understand but you. A strong sense of purpose that you feel in your gut or your heart or whatever. The kind of feeling that envelops you in the middle of the night, at unsuspecting moments when you read an inspiring story or come across a quotation that really resonates with you. Like gold dust you can see it swirling around you in the form of ideas, imagination, thoughts and musings. Like an aura that glows, and only grows brighter and refuses to dim down. You can’t stop thinking about it and it fills you up to an extent that, that is all you dream, plan and work on every minute of your life. Some might call it passion, or purpose, or if you are the slightly more eclectic and dreamy kind – magic.
Coming back to the outfit, I styled a beautiful pair of Garnet earrings, studded in a union of gold and silver metals. I usually am partial to drops and longer earrings but sometimes I do like taking the minimal route and letting a pair of delicate studs sparkle, shine and speak for themselves. With ruby sapphire wonders, charismatic emerald danglers, opal earrings and many more, the collection offers endless designs, numerous options for every budget. Playing with the hue of the garnet studs, I paired them with a blush pink top and a dark skirt with pink undertones to set off the beautifully studded stones. Maybe it was the dreamer in me, or its just the way these precious jewels seem to bring out a certain opulent yet modest quality in a person, that the end result turned out to be this – feminine, dainty and perfectly magical!
